exception of the added thrill that comes from an awesome
mare that has been bred at home!
This is why we have bred most of our own horses and ride
all of them!
doesn’t
have “just broodmares”. Our stallion (Apache) is
quite the gentleman and is a pleasure to ride. We
rotate our mares leaving one or two open to ride each
year. For years, we’ve learned and loved the
fascination of breeding, its difficulties, and its
delights: the always entrancing charm of young life.
We believe the best horse you'll ever have is one you
take the time to raise yourself.
We breed
Tennessee Walking Horses and
Spotted Saddle Horses on our small farm
located in the tip of the Northwest Florida panhandle.
We have carefully chosen bloodlines and crosses to
produce an excellent disposition, a fabulous natural
gait, and a handsome conformation. The striking color
is a pleasure to see and enjoy, however we consider
color a bonus and never breed just
for color. Our
“ladies” represent some of
the oldest founders of the Tennessee Walking Horse and
Spotted Saddle Horse breeds. Apache (stable
name), our stallion, is a direct son of the awesome
Spotted Alen Again.
Bred with our Spotted Saddle mares, our babies carry the
much desired traits for which this pedigree is known.
With the wonderful technology of Artificial
Insemination (AI), our Tennessee Walking Horse mares are
bred to some of the most outstanding stallions in the
Tennessee Walking Horse world today. Our “ladies”
are the dams of future champions, whether for show or
pleasure!
Our babies have an amount of charm, intelligence, gentle
spirit, confidence, and undoubted friendship that is not
often found in the less fortunate horse which has gone
from hand to hand, has not been socialized, or taught
manners in a proper way. We start working with our foals
from the moment they are born, developing and instilling
traits that will last a lifetime.
